In our “Details” section, you will find all the important administrative information about your stay, clearly and concisely listed. Being well-informed in advance avoids surprises and misunderstandings. Here, you can also find details on special requests and, if desired, take out travel cancellation insurance directly.

Price information

Our prices are per person per night, including half-board, plus the local tourist tax of €3.20 per person per night for guests aged 14 and over. The tourist tax is payable upon departure and is listed separately on your invoice. For stays of 1-3 nights, a surcharge of €8-10 per person applies. For single occupancy of a double room (on request), a surcharge of 70% of the half-board rate will be charged. If booking bed & breakfast only, a reduction of €10 per person per night applies. Otherwise, any cancellation of dinner must be arranged in advance at reception. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for missed meals without prior notice. If you would like to have breakfast on your arrival day, we will be happy to provide it for an additional charge of €20 per person.

Bill payment options

We accept cash payments up to €4,999.00, as well as debit and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, AMEX) or instant bank transfers.

Reductions for children

Valid in the parents’ room (with two full-paying guests): 

0 to 2.99 years: €20 (for a cot and meals) 

3 to 5.99 years: 50% discount 

6 to 8.99 years: 30% discount 

9 to 12.99 years: 20% discount 

From 13 years: 10% discount 

Reservation confirmation

Reservations are only binding once confirmed by Hotel Gratschwirt. Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of a deposit amounting to 30% of the booking value. Kindly transfer the amount within 5 days of booking:

We are happy to take requests regarding room categories, but we cannot guarantee specific room numbers or floors. 

Cancellation conditions

Please note that cancellations are only valid in written form. We will make every effort to rebook cancelled rooms so that no charges apply. If this is not possible, the following cancellation conditions apply: 

Up to 3 months before arrival: no cancellation fees 

3 months to 1 month before arrival: 40% of the booking value 
1 month to 1 week before arrival: 70% of the booking value 

Less than 1 week before arrival: 90% of the booking value 

In the case of late arrival or early departure, up to 100% of the booked but unused stay may be charged. 
To avoid cancellation fees, we recommend taking out travel insurance. The “Hotelstorno Plus” package from Europäische Reiseversicherung can be booked online here

Arrival and departure

Your room will be available from 3 pm on the day of arrival. Should you arrive earlier, we will be happy to store your luggage so you can begin enjoying your holiday straight away. If you plan to arrive after 6 pm, please inform us so we can arrange dinner for you. On your departure day, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10 am. Should you require, we can store your luggage for the remainder of the day. 

Dietary requirements

Upon request, we are delighted to prepare vegetarian, lactose-free, and gluten-free meals. Please inform us in advance of your stay. 

Pets

Well-behaved four-legged companions are warmly welcomed at Hotel Gratschwirt. A charge of €20 per day applies without food, plus a €50 final cleaning fee. Any damages caused may be charged accordingly. Please note that pets are not permitted in the dining room, wellness area, or sunbathing lawn.

Non-smoking

The entire hotel is a non-smoking zone. Smoking is permitted only on balconies and in outdoor areas. 

Minibar/Fridge

In the interest of environmental sustainability, we do not provide minibars in the rooms. If you need to refrigerate food or medication, please let us know - we will be happy to store them for you.
