An afternoon at the ice rink in Dobbiaco is ideal for a family outing or a romantic date. Build your confidence on the ice or attempt your first pirouette. The ice rink is located in the sports area and is easily accessible by public transport, with parking also available. And if you're not quite ready to take to the slippery surface, you can always watch one of the thrilling hockey matches!
The Tre Cime region is perfect for ski touring: beneath you, fresh snow; above you, clear blue skies; and all around you, the rugged peaks of the Dolomites. If you love hiking and skiing, this sport is ideal for you. First, enjoy the pristine nature during the ascent, far from well-trodden paths, and then carve your own way down, far removed from the marked slopes.
Alta Pusteria is a real paradise for tobogganing fans! We recommend the family-friendly toboggan run at Monte Baranci in San Candido (2.1 km), the toboggan run at Croda Rossa in Sesto (5 km), the Signaue toboggan run at the mountain station of the cable car with the same name (2.2 km), and the stunning run from the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Except for the Tre Cime toboggan run, all starting points are accessible by cable car, so there will be nothing stopping you from enjoying numerous runs down the mountains!
